A large fire destroys the workshop and the nearby residential building. |

After the death of the company’s founder the enterprise is led by a community of joint heirs. |
| 1965 |
The company of joint heirs is dissolved and as a consequence the staff is dismissed. |
| 1966 |
Karl König jun. runs the enterprise on his own. He works with two carpenters in the field of refinishing the interior. |
| 1975 |
Gerhard König takes over the management of the company from his father. |
| 1976 |
A planning office for shop fittings is founded. In the same year a new building of 1500 m2 in the industrial area Niederbol is constructed. |
| 1983 |
Additionally to the production a warehouse for Tegometall-shelves is built. |
| 1994 |
In a neighbouring building a metalworking section is installed. After several extensions the entire production and warehouse sections comprise a surface of 7.000 m2. |
| 1997 |
A new office is constructed. Further building projects in these years are a new smith’s shop and a separate showroom. |
| 2000 |
A new factory building for the metal section is built. The production area grows to 12.000 m2. |
| 2004 |
The “Gerhard König ltd.” celebrates its 100th anniversary. |
| 2008 |
Simultaneously to the existing fields of activity a special fitting system for the equipment of bike shops is launched. |
